In 1946, ERS’ first insurance policy covered the repatriation of munitions from Europe at the end of World War Two. Since then, a lot has changed.
In 2021, ERS was joined by IQUW, a brand new Specialty insurer and reinsurer that combines digitalisation and intelligent automation with human expertise to make fast, informed decisions. IQUW has built a diverse portfolio including Cyber, Cargo, Marine, Credit & Political Risk, Energy, Property, Directors & Officers, Financial Institutions, Portfolio Solutions, Political Violence & Terror and War risks, plus Reinsurance business in London and a platform in Bermuda for both Property Treaty International and specific to the US and Specialty Reinsurance.
Together, IQUW and ERS form the IQUW Group. We are in the top 10 largest managing agencies at Lloyd’s and expect to underwrite $2bn GWP in 2025.
